Sunday School
This year we are using a lectionary Sunday School curriculum. The child will be hearing the same verses that they heard during service. We will do Sunday School in person if we can. If we can not it will be over Zoom following Worship Service.
We begin each week with our opening in the church, we sing a few songs and do a prayer created by the kids. After our opening we go to the Sunday School rooms and do a craft and activity and talk about our lesson.
Education
Youth Group
Our Youth Group is very active. We attend the ELCA Youth Gathering every 3 years and go to the Chicago area Quakes. We have done several community service projects such as Feed my Starving Children, singing and bringing cookies to our shut-in members, and various other activities. We also take some time to just have fun with lock-ins, Haunted Houses, and our yearly trips to Lutherdale Bible Camp.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School (VBS) at LCMM is a three evening Bible camp. We have Bible study, crafts, games, music, and snacks to fill each evening.
